This is an adaptor that goes into the temperature sender fitting on the lower thermostat housing on the TD42 engine. This adaptor fits beside the factory sender. This adaptor allows you to run an aftermarket gauge in this position as it converts the thread. Works with gauges that need a 1/8 NPT fitting such as Redarc or VDO.
