General age-related toning, faint creasing lower left, very minor foxing. Reverse shows old attachment remnants. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Biography engraver: Ferdinand Piloty (1786-1844) was a German lithographer based in Munich. He collaborated with Johann Nepomuk Strixner on the renowned “Oeuvre Lithographique”, producing fine lithographic reproductions of works by old masters. Biography artist: Jacques Callot (1592-1635) was a French baroque printmaker from Nancy, active in Italy and France. He is known for his technical innovation in etching and his vivid depictions of soldiers, beggars, and theatrical figures.
