It marks a return to the original SuSi philosophy of being light and fun, while pushing the boundaries of weight reduction for exploration and enjoyment. Key Features:Ultra-Lightweight: Weighs an impressive 1.62 kg, making it the lightest SuSi ever and ideal for expeditions where every gram counts. Expedition (XPed) Series: The first product in this new series, indicating its focus on extreme and remote adventures, prioritizing lightness and toughness. All-Round Glider: Designed for versatility and fun across various flying scenarios. Optimized Internal Structure: Engineered specifically to save weight, with “each gram counts” as a guiding principle. Durable & Lightweight Materials:Double-coated Dominico DOKDO-10DSF: Used for both top and bottom surfaces, a material proven in AirDesign’s Superlight gliders for its balance of lightness and durability. Unsheathed, hydrophobic, and color-coded Aramid 8001 Magix Pro Dry lines: Offer solidity and are easy to untangle, while being water-resistant. Easy Takeoffs: Features “evident inflation” and “efficient lift,” making it ideal for short and tricky takeoffs, crucial in challenging environments. Ground Attachment Loops: Located on the leading edge to prevent the paraglider from slipping on steep and/or slippery slopes (e.g., snow). Delivered in a VacPack: Ensures a reduced volume in the rucksack for transport, though it’s specified not for long-term storage of the glider. Philosophy of XPed Series:The XPed series aims to reduce everything to its minimum – prioritizing functionality and practicality – building upon the Superlight series’ focus on lightweight gliders with durability and usability. The SuSi XPed is presented as being “still reliable in every situation” despite its extreme lightness. For more details, visit the Manufacturer’s Page
