Biography engraver: Melchior Kuesel (1626-1684) was a German engraver from Augsburg, known for his work after Johann Wilhelm Baur and illustrations for Bibles and classical subjects. He was the father-in-law of engraver Johann Ulrich Kraus. Biography artist: Johann Wilhelm Baur (1607-1640), also known as Joan Guiliam Bouwer, was a German engraver and miniature painter noted for his watercolors and etchings of architectural fantasy and classical themes. He traveled to Italy and died in Vienna while working for Ferdinand III.
